Overview
The QC Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring all products produced at C Studio are made accurately and meet quality standard. This role i nspects materials and products for accuracy and quality . The main responsibility for the position is to ensure all materials for each install is with the correct job and ready for the next day's installs . This is a full-time, onsite, hourly position is based in Elmhurst, IL.

Responsibilities
- Inspect quality on manufactured and purchased materials for each job.
- Utilize cut lists and/or drawings to insure that finished parts are correct size and color .
- Review production folders to ensure all areas have confirmed completion of finished products (e.g., doors/drawers, bar/rail).
- Ensure a ll materials for each job is place in appropriate bays .
- Evaluate quality issues within production department and assist management with recommendations for corrective action .
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to Production Manager .
- Stack cut materials properly, in accordance with established production guidelines for height .
- Work within established time guidelines and cycle times.
- Provide feedback to Productions Manager on quality issues.
- Adhere to company safety guidelines
- Contribute to the successfulness of the department.
- Assist on other projec ts as required by your manager.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
- High school diploma or GED required .
- A minimum of 2 years experience and/or training in a manufacturing setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
